ROUTE DESCRIPTION
FIRST PART (POLJICE / RAVNA PLANINA)
The route starts from Poljice following a well-trodden walking trail suitable for running. It proceeds to the first refreshment station at Ravna Planina. The trail features minor ascents, alternating with gentle descents and flat sections. Up to the first refreshment point, the trail runs through the forest, except for a section around 8 km where it opens up to Saračeva Polja.
SECOND PART (RAVNA PLANINA / DVORIŠTA)
From the first refreshment station, the trail descends sharply on a gravel road to the "Studenac" spring (15.5 km), then continues on a beaten hiking trail through the forest until it rejoins a gravel road leading to the beginning of the ascent to Ravna Planina at 17.1 km. The ascent follows a forest road suitable for running, starting at 1100m above sea level (mnm) and climbing steadily to 1480mnm, followed by a steep descent to the second refreshment station, Dvorišta, at 1310mnm. There is a drinking water source at this station.
THIRD PART (DVORIŠTA – TREBEVIĆ)
From Dvorišta, the trail briefly follows a gravel road, then turns left into the forest on forest paths towards "Bukova kosa". Initially a gentle ascent of 1 km is followed by a steep climb to "Bukova kosa", just under 1 km in length, gaining 200 meters in elevation. From the refreshment station to the summit, the elevation gain is significant. From the summit, the trail descends towards the Nordic skiing area, crosses a gravel road, and continues through forest paths suitable for running over gently undulating terrain, until a short climb at 27.5 km from 1390mnm to 1460mnm over about 500m. After this, it turns sharply left into the forest towards Begova polja at 28.9 km. After a brief descent, the trail turns right across meadows, then descends through a forest path towards the third refreshment station, Trebević, near the regional highway.
FOURTH PART (TREBEVIĆ - BLIZANCI)
Continuing, the trail crosses the highway and proceeds on a gravel road until 32.9 km, where it sharply turns right and descends through forest paths to another gravel road leading towards "Kunani" until the beginning of the ascent to Trebević at 34.9 km. The ascent starts at 1200mnm and ends at 1440mnm. The initial part of the ascent is very steep with grassy terrain interspersed with frequent rocks. After climbing steeply to 1330mnm, a gentler ascent follows to 1350mnm, then a slightly steeper climb to the summit of Rudine. From Rudine, the trail descends following a hiking path to a pass, then climbs one last time to the summit of Trebević from 136mnm to 1627mnm. The entire ascent to Trebević is through meadows except for a rocky section down Rudine to the final ascent. From the summit of Trebević, following a beaten hiking path across rocky terrain, the trail descends to the Jure Franko mountain lodge, then downhill to the fourth refreshment station, Bilazanac, located near the Blizanac spring. The descent is from 1627mnm to 1150mnm.
FIFTH PART (BLIZANCI - KASINDOL)
From the refreshment station, the trail briefly continues on a local asphalt road to a right turn at 41.5 km in the village of Donje Međuše, then follows a forest path and a beaten hiking trail, descending to the village of Kumane from 1200mnm to 1100mnm. It then joins a gravel road leading to the village of Ždrale until 44.1 km. Beyond this point, a slight ascent begins through a narrow ravine on a forest path, climbing from 110mnm to 1270mnm over approximately 2 km, partly through forest and partly over meadow sections. After the ascent, it continues on a hard forest road to the regional highway, crossing it and continuing on a forest path towards Pavlovac. After crossing the highway, a short ascent begins from 125mnm to 1300mnm through the forest, then descends gently to rejoin a gravel road leading to the life station Kasindol at 52 km. There is a drinking water source at this station.
SIXTH PART (KASINDOL - MEĐUPLANINA)
Continuing briefly on a gravel road, the trail sharply descends across meadows to the Kasindolska river, crosses it, then exits onto a gravel road and turns uphill slightly left at around 53 km. The ascent is from 1220mnm to 1330mnm, followed by a descent to 1280mnm, then climbs again to 1500mnm, all following a forest path through the forest. The terrain predominantly consists of grass with occasional rocks on the ascent. At the summit, caution is advised due to rocky terrain less suitable for running. From the summit at 1600mnm, the trail turns right following a forest path along the ridge, gently descending to a large meadow at 1390mnm. From the meadow, the trail sharply turns left towards Međuplanina, initially on a hard gravel road narrowing into a forest path suitable for running. After emerging onto the meadow, the trail ascends to Međuplanina from 157mnm to 1800mnm, where the fifth refreshment station, Međuplanina, is located.
SEVENTH PART (MEĐUPLANINA - JAHORINA)
Continuing, the trail proceeds across meadows below the peak of "Bič", following well-trodden paths very suitable for running without major ascents and descents, until just below the peak of "Košuta" where it gently descends from 1800mnm to 1690mnm, followed by an ascent towards Sjenište following a gravel road to just below the peak, continuing without major ascents and descents until the ascent to Ogorjelica from 1800mnm to 1900mnm, followed by a descent to the finish at Poljice. The entire section from Međuplanina to Ogorjelica extends through forests over the meadow complexes of "Gole Jahorine" and is suitable for running.
From Ogorjelica, the trail follows a ski slope descending to the finish at Poljice.
